Debugging...

I know it's been awhile since I put any pics on here...I have some ready to go, but Faron has been debugging my computer. I should be able to upload them tomorrow. Sorry for the delay, I know ya'll look forward to new posts...

BYE, BYE PACI... DAY2

We made it through another night. Cole didn't wake up at all last night, or at least he didn't cry if he did. He is waking up at 7:00am instead of 7:30am, but I can live with that. I think if we can make it through tonight we should be good to go.

BYE, BYE PACI... DAY 1

According to the Farmer's Alamanac June 28th is a good day to ween, so we decided to give it a try with the pacifier. Cole is not really very dependent on his paci, so I hope this won't be too bad. I wanted to give this a try before he became too needy of his paci. Well, we made it through the 1st night. He fussed a little longer than normal last night when he went to bed and then he woke up about 4:45am this morning and cried for about 10 minutes. I'll update tomorrow after we see how tonight goes. Keep your fingers crossed

Happy Father's Day

Today is Father's Day and I would like to take this opportunity to tell my husband how much I appreciate him.

Faron -

Words cannot express how much I love you and appreciate everything you do for me, and not just me, but our little family as well. You provide for us financially and you do everything you can to be a loving and caring Husband and Father. And you are. I don't always say it, but I would like to Thank You for always trying to do your best for us. When we first started talking about having a baby, I wanted so badly to give you what you wanted...a son. And God anwered our prayers. I can see in your eyes how much you love Cole every time you look at him. And I absolutley love to watch the two of you together. After all, Cole is a little mini-you, and I am so proud to be your wife and his mother.

I hope you have a wonderful Father's Day.

Mystery Solved...

Here's one for the medical books...

Many of you know that Cole has had a rash on his leg for a little over a month now. And it's really been worrying me. We went to the Dr last week and was told it was ezcema. I immediately came home and hit google. Nothing I found looked anything like what Cole had. I was very worried he had developed an allergy to something...maybe milk or eggs or something like that. So after a week of "treating" the rash, we went back to our regular Dr (last week he was on vacation) to get another opinion. After a few minutes Dr Stephens said, "It looks like unilateral laterothoracic exauthem (say that 3 times fast)." I know, I know, it sounds awful. But it's not. It's just a rash leftover from a previous virus and it will go away on it's own it about 4-6 weeks. No treatment needed. I haven't looked it up on google yet, but I'm interesed to see if I can find anything. I feel much better now knowing it's nothing to worry about.

Mandi, try to stump your professor's with that one...

Kid-Friendly Weekend

Last weekend we went to Paul & LeAnne's house for the 2nd Annual Kid-Friendly weekend. It was a very successful event. On Saturday, there were a total of 9 kids ranging from 10 weeks to 4 1/2 years old. This event could have very easily been a giant catastrophe, but it was a very fun time. Nap time had to be in shifts because there were so many kids.

Memorial Day Weekend

Cole spent some quality time with his Grandparents for Memorial Day while Mommy and Daddy took a little trip to New Orleans to see Aunt Julie and Uncle Tallboy.

Cole spent Thursday afternoon through Sunday with Nana and Papa in Marlow. I'm sure he got to do whatever he wanted the entire time. Nana said he and Papa made no less than 10,000 laps around the house on the golf cart.

I don't exactly know where all the black on his legs came from...

Monday morning Grandma Charlotte and Papa picked Cole up and took him to Maysville to Uncle Larry's for a Memorial Day Cookout.

He loves the sprinkler.

Papa had to keep a hand on Cole or he would have went head first after the fish in the pond.
